The Chairperson of the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer of the organization and shall have general control and management of its business affairs, subject to the control of the Board of Directors. He/She shall perform such other duties as required by the Board, and shall, when present, preside over all meetings of the members. The Professional Development committee reports to this officer.

In the absence of the chapter's President, the Internal Vice President assumes the President’s responsibilities. He/She will assist the President in all internal administrative matters, and represent the organization on behalf of the President whenever needed. The Community Development Committee and the Membership Committee will report to this officer.

In the absent of Internal Vice President and President this position is the next executive officer. The Partnership and Fund Raising Committees will report to this officer.

In addition to recording the minutes of the Executive Board and general body meetings, this officer will broadcast meetings and activities. He/She will be the main portal of communication to the general body and outside persons and organizations. The Public Relations Committee will report to this officer.

| Treasurer | Filled |
The treasurer’s responsibilities include depositing and disbursing funds accordingly. He/She will provide financial records to the Executive Board and general body on a monthly basis and prepare and maintain an annual budget. The coordination of appropriate tax filings is the responsibility of the Treasurer. The Finance Committee and the Scholarship Committee will report to this officer.

This officer will be the liaison between STLFSC and the Regional and National offices. He/She will also represent STLFSC at all Regional and National meetings and events. Also will perform such other duties as may be authorized by the Board. |

This officer is appointed by the President to advise the board and members on parliamentary procedure. He/She also advises the chapter on proceedings provided by the chapter's ByLaws and Robert's Rules of Order, Newly Revised. The Parliamentarian chairs the Nominating Committee. |

The Board also consists of five (5) Directors-At-Large. These board members will assist in developing the overall strategic plan of the organization and take on other leadership roles, as requested. They will input and vote on activities within the organization and be present as an officer whenever needed.
